Scout programs

Boy and Girl Scout Programs

Georgia Audubon is happy to tailor a program to meet the needs of your Scout group. A naturalist will lead your group through a series of relevant activities in order to help satisfy requirements for a particular achievement. Programs will take place at Georgia Audubon's office at the Trees Atlanta Kendeda Tree House. We can also conduct programs offsite for an additional charge of $0.70/mile.

For more information, pricing, or to book a program:  Email Melissa Paduani, Education Program Manager,  or call 678.973.2437.  Please apply for our Georgia Audubon Scholarship if cost is a burden.

Junior Girl Scouts: Animal Habitats badge

Picture
Georgia Audubon offers a one-stop-shop for the Junior-level Animal Habitats badge. In this hands-on program, Scouts will fulfill all badge requirements with a special emphasis on our local Georgia habitats and the animals (especially birds!) that live in them. Learn Atlanta's backyard birds as you explore the Westside Atlanta BeltLine near our office at the Trees Atlanta Kendeda Center, then step inside our classrooms to learn about some of Georgia’s endangered habitats and ways that we can protect them. We’ll wrap up by learning how you can create a wildlife-friendly backyard and creating a take-home craft to help the birds.

For more information, pricing, or to book a program:  Email Melissa Paduani, Education Program Manager, or call 678.973.2437. Please apply for a Georgia Audubon Scholarship if cost is a burden.

No fee for chaperones; limit of four.
