Georgia Urban Ecologists is for youth in grades 8 through 12. This school-year long program will guide students in the discovery of the fascinating, rich ecology of Georgia, providing opportunities for hands-on field experiences and fun with their peers. Perfect for students interested in pursuing careers in science or conservation or those who just enjoy being outside in nature, the Georgia Urban Ecologists program provides students with opportunities to learn alongside experts in the field, as well as meaningful experiences in the outdoor places. Students will establish a network of environmental professionals who can assist with their academic and career development while having fun outdoors with their peers.
For the 2022/2023 school year, Georgia Audubon is delighted to offer Georgia Urban Ecologists in both Atlanta and Athens/Clarke County as well as a Georgia Urban Ecologists II in the Atlanta area for students who have already attended the first series.

Program fees:
$400 early bird registration for those registering on or before September 5, 2022
