Join Atlanta Audubon and Georgia Organics at Wrecking Barn Farm for a special look at the interconnectedness between bird conservation and farming, and learn how we can work together to address today's environmental challenges, including climate change and pesticide use.
Enjoy a hearty farm-to-table brunch prepared by local chefs.The brunch will include an omelet station highlighting Wrecking Barn vegetables, a biscuit bar showcasing their artisanal bacon, housemade sausage, and pork butter, along with local fruits, housemade preserves, and whipped cream. There will also be a Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar and bird-friendly coffee.
Guests will hear Georgia Organics’ Executive Director, Alice Rolls, and Atlanta Audubon’s Director of Conservation, Adam Betuel. The brunch will culminate in the dedication of the new Chimney Swift Tower that is currently under construction on the site.
Tickets are $75 for current Atlanta Audubon, Georgia Organics, or Cast Iron & Collards members and $80 for non-members. An optional bird walk/farm tour will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on the morning of the tour. Please note that there is uneven terrain on this tour. Guests should wear sturdy, practical footwear.
