Field Trips

Georgia Audubon field trips are a great way to learn more about Georgia's resident and migrating birds. They are also a great way to meet other people who share your interest in birds and the outdoors.

Beginning birders are welcome on our trips. If you need to borrow a pair of binoculars, please contact the field trip leader in advance and he/she should be able to loan you a pair. Unless otherwise noted, our field trips are free and open to the public.  Come learn about Georgia's birds from Georgia Audubon's awesome field trip leaders.

Georgia Audubon's Diversity Commitment

Georgia Audubon strives to mimic the diversity of nature and of our community in our work. Just as bird diversity strengthens ecosystems, the diversity of human experiences, traditions, and viewpoints strengthens our conservation, education, and community engagement efforts. Georgia Audubon is committed to building a more representative, equitable, and inclusive organization for our members, staff, partners, board, and program participants.

As an organization, Georgia Audubon is working proactively to center equity, diversity, and inclusiveness throughout our operations.

Georgia Audubon's Diversity Commitment
Georgia Audubon distributes a free twice-monthly e-newsletter, Bird Buzz, as well as other e-communications about upcoming events and programs.  Georgia Audubon members are automatically added to this list.
